It didn't work at first. I tried a Milwaukee 28v 1/2" impact wrench. Bolt wouldn't budge. I then tried the IngersolRand shock with a 1" drive at 110psi starting pressure. Didn't work (I think the source pressure was too low or my air compressor tank was too small for this tool.) I then tried the 18V 1/2" drive with a partially charged HD12 high capacity battery. That does not work. Then I fully charged this battery and BINGO. You can weld a weight to a standard socket and get similar results (a few YouTube videos), but when you factor in time, supplies, and gas (assuming you have or know someone with a welder) you're not really saving. And you will probably destroy the hardness of your tool. Worth every penny.
