I like these socks. I wear them for running and general purpose socks when wearing athletic shoes. They're well padded but breathe well in the Texas heat. I wear 2 pairs of socks when running to avoid blisters and use them as a lined outer sock with a thinner insole. I have 3 pairs that I have been using in heavy use for over a year and they are holding up great and have since bought a few more as 3 pairs have received heavy rotation. My son has also "borrowed" them a few times and he loves them too so I'm thinking of getting one for him. The only downside is that they are usually small. This actually worked well for me as the medium is usually a bit small and the large is usually too big. These big ones fit me just right.
