I needed a replacement for an old metal halite so I came across this one. I was amazed at the light output of this thing compared to a metal halide bulb. However, it's not just about brightness. Because this light uses LEDs, there is no need to replace bulbs. I used to have to come up on a scissor lift to change the bulbs in my old light fixture, which is incredibly annoying when you're doing this every few months. Also, it wasn't until I received the package that I realized (it's my fault for not reading the full description) that this light also includes a twilight sensor. I had my electrician hook up an old faucet to the timer, but replacing it over the course of a year was a hell of a job. The new one is fully automatic. I definitely recommend this product and I will be buying 4 more.
