I was driving cross country in a very bumpy area and my phone froze. Not once did I drop my best phone while mountain biking. There have been a few instances where the phone holder would loosen up a bit and the phone would tilt down, but this only happened after driving over very rough terrain. All I had to do was adjust the tilt of the screen so I had the right angle for viewing my phone. The bracket is big enough to hold my 13 Pro phone with the case on, but looks wide enough to fit the Pro Max.
