I don't like drinking out of metal, including straws, but I like the durability of metal. These silicone tipped straws are the best of both worlds. Dishwasher safe, metal won't touch lips, attractive colors. Everyone can have their own color, so we never use someone else's straw. Nothing ends up in landfill! yes i recommend
