It broke the first time I put it together.
We replaced an old similar staircase with adjustable and foldable legs. It was a good replacement - light weight and a good size. Then when we first folded the legs to put them in the camper, a small button fell down the leg on one of the legs. As a result, the leg no longer remained open when unfolded and could fold in at any time. I didn't know how to fix it and if the legs broke again the step would be unsteady. I hate giving things back but we did it.
