Good security camera with bright light.

I like Eufy security cameras because they have local storage so you don't have to pay monthly for cloud storage. In addition, the light from this camera is brighter (2600 lumens) than the light from the ring spotlight camera. In addition, the Eufy Spotlight camera also allows you to adjust the brightness in different lighting modes: manual, motion, scheduled. In manual mode, you can press the button on the app to turn the light on or off. Motion, the light turns on when it detects motion. Scheduled, you can create multiple schedules of when to turn the lights on and off. There's also a Dust to Dawn setting you can use. Brightness setting allows you to set the scheduled brightness to a lower level and the motion setting to full brightness when motion is detected. Light motion detection has a slightly larger detection area than the camera, so it normally triggers before a person enters the camera's field of view and starts recording about 3 seconds before the person enters the camera's field of view. You can record between 30 and 120 seconds per clip. If the movement stops, the recording will stop sooner. If it detects movement again, it starts a new recording. Also, you can have up to 4 activity zones, allowing you to define the areas where you want motion detection within the scene. This way you can eliminate trees or bushes that could cause false notification. With some other security cameras, you pay a monthly fee to get this feature. The assembly and installation of the lamp was easy. They even gave you a power cord so you can easily set up and test the light to make sure everything is working before actually plugging the light into the wall. This way you can make sure that the WiFi signal is strong enough. You can broadcast live from the camera and see and hear what's happening. The sound quality is pretty good. You can hear all sounds from outside loud and clear. You can also press and hold the button during a live broadcast to talk to the person outside. The sound from the spotlight camera speaker is also loud and clear. During a live broadcast, you can record live video on your phone as well as take screenshots of what is happening during the live broadcast. In addition, you can press the button to turn on the floodlight alarm at around 100dB to deter intruders. In addition, you have 9 different notification tones that you can assign to your cameras. I use them in areas like fashion so I can tell if there's movement on the front door, in the backyard, or on the side of the house. So you know immediately where the movement is coming from. The only thing it lacks is this: only internal storage. No, cloud storage or secure HomeKit video, or even the ability to add a camera to HomeKit for live streaming in the Apple Home app. Recording on an external NAS like with other cameras is also not possible. The camera only has about 3.6 gigabytes of local storage, which isn't much. I wish it could also burn the HomeBase 2 copy of the video that came with the EufyCam2 or put the copy on a NAS drive as well. I want EufyCam2 to start to start recording. In addition, only 2.4 GHz WiFi works. No 5GHz support, especially if you already have many devices with 2.4GHz bandwidth.
