I confess that the first thing that attracted me to this phone holder was the price. However, the car fan mount is solid but easy to install and offers plenty of adjustments to position the phone for a good view of the screen. The two sides grip the phone while you hold it in the cradle, and when you want to release it, a single button on the back of the cradle releases them for bouncing and the phone to be easily removed. Mine is attached to the air vent of a 2016 Honda CRV.
