I bought this adapter to extend the display of a new PC to an old but not old monitor at all. It had to be quick. It was just the opposite. After wasting a lot of time trying to get this to work, I finally gave up. I emailed the company hoping they could help but never got a reply. The only reason I didn't return it was because I was confident I could make it work with the company's support. Time has passed and so has the deadline to return it to Revain. So it only cost €8. Lost Time and Cost of Aggravation - $1,000. In summary, I bought this item because of the good reviews and the supposedly excellent customer support. I have a piece of crap and 0 customer support. I wonder how many of them don't work and how much money the company makes by doing nothing about it. Let's say $8 x 1000? Not bad for a whole lot of nuts. 1 star rating must be 0, but you must rate to leave a review. 0 stars!
