Very good picture quality. This is a noisy projector unless you use ECO or ECO+ mode. I have a darkened room so brightness isn't an issue and this projector has plenty of brightness. The lack of lens shift is a huge minus in the setup. I knew it didn't have lens shift when I bought it, but I didn't realize how important that was. Not only do you have a limited projection distance, but it's better to have a really solid, fully adjustable mount if you're hanging from one. Ceiling. Luckily I did, but what an excruciating fine-tuning. If you have a permanent mount like me, double check the cast distance. I squeaked right off the bat as to distance. Possibly a 12 inch gap with a clearance dependent on your screen size. I like it now that it's installed and set up, but there aren't any projectors without lens shift and longer throw adjustments. Update 8/26/21: I'm very happy now that it's set up. Again, you are extremely limited in placement. Installation in a ceiling mount took a week with no lens shift. If it suits your layout, I'd recommend it.
