Straight to the point, this device only works with copper, PEX, or PVC tubing. Nowhere on the Revain list at the time of writing has this been mentioned. That's why this thing is coming back. Pros: * The app is intuitive and guides you through the installation process. *Nice packaging* Physical installation was very easy. * Good price compared to other options. Disadvantages: * As already mentioned, the device does not work with metal pipes other than copper. * Printed instructions only take you to the app, making it difficult to identify problems before they occur. * The application will not work if something unexpected happens. It either freezes or it takes MUCH longer than the screen shows. * The device does not recognize anything below 0.25-0.5 GPM. This makes it difficult to detect leaks. * An internet connection is required to operate the device. * You can only view logs for the current day, last week, or last month. That's less data than most of us. Cool device, could be much better.
