I just bought the third one. One was on a bike that was stolen but I have it on my road bike and mountain bike. You read people's frustration and the 1 star is probably mostly due to that. Mountain bikes present a unique challenge as you have to tilt the sensor on the fork to get it close enough to register. It doesn't point straight ahead like a road bike due to the large fork diameter and increased tire clearance. One caveat: like almost all LCD bike computers, this one is difficult to see in daylight when you're wearing polarized sunglasses. The accuracy is very good. I put both in the sun and it got hot (80 degrees) and the screens went black. I thought I killed them both, but after three minutes in the fridge to bring them to their senses, both patients are healthy and functioning.
