These lights are not of very good quality although they look fairly well built. They MATCH if they are always on. So I requested a replacement set (assuming the blown bulbs were an anomaly) and they arrived today and they also randomly flicker on the 'always on' setting! Incredibly poor quality control! I already have a set of these globes (different brand) and after 3 years they still work great. No weird flickering when set to "always on". With these new bulbs I tried different sockets (as if it made a difference) and it made no difference. I also tried the outlet and cord that the Christmas tree lights were plugged into and they still flicker! I toggled all the lighting settings and you can see occasional "flickering" even with other lighting configurations. Can't believe there is quality control as I only plugged it in to test and the flickering was noticeable for a few seconds. This is a power transformer, is the power supply bad? On both sets I ordered? I do not know. I'm fed up with this brand of these lamps. I will no longer buy from them. I'm hoping to find a quality lighting kit that just works. I've included a video of the flickering for you to see. Both strings of lights did the same. The flickering is stronger than in the video, but clearly visible.
