I installed them on the back of a camper van last weekend. The magnets were good and strong. They didn't move on the 200 mile journey, including some bumpy roads. I planned to put zip ties on them to make sure they wouldn't fall off. After installing them, I decided I didn't need them. The magnets were good and strong. I also like that they use a standard 1157 bulb. If the light goes out I can fix it for a buck. I looked at such LED lights and decided on this one. Contrary to popular belief, LEDs do NOT last forever. The ones in my page markers come out 2-3 times a year. I didn't want the LED to fail on the street and I had to go looking for a new light. I liked them better then. I had to buy an extension cord for the camper. It was 20 feet long, just like the pendant on those lanterns. When I zig zag under the RV I was about 10 feet short. Not a big deal, I expected that. All in all these are good flashlights and I would buy them again.
