The first lighter I received had a loose cap so I had to return it but the manufacturer sent me a replacement the next day. Excellent customer service. This is my first time trying a plasma lighter and I wanted something to smoke a glass pipe or bowl with. This lighter did a great job. The design is long enough and comfortable enough to reach any section of the pipe. Unlike a traditional lighter, it tends to illuminate a very small spot, resulting in superior "lighter control". Pipes that would give me 4 or 5 puffs with a traditional lighter now last 7 or 8 puffs with this one. I don't know how convenient it would be to light up cigars or toast a large bowl that you just want to hand out to a group of people. Although for me this thing has been awesome and I love to smoke without worrying about inhaling a bunch of butane etc. I am a believer in the plasma lighter concept and will continue to experiment with different types. The battery life on this thing was pretty good, but maybe not quite what I expected. When I first used this I probably got about 80 bulbs from one charge but now after 3 weeks of daily use I'm getting a maximum of 50-60 bulbs from each charge but it only takes about an hour to charge and then you are ready for once again. A beautiful LED battery indicator on the lighter itself shows you how much charge is left. Good product and great concept, very happy to have entered the arc lighter world.
