Review on Dark Gray Silicone Case: Protective Cover for 2020 Chromecast Voice Remote by Donna Marshall

I rarely use my Chromecast with Google TV, but I need something to keep the remote from slipping. I liked the lace idea. I didn't take a good look at it until I installed it on the console. Ouch! Why? The silicone has just enough grip that no protrusions are needed, not to mention uncomfortable. I took medium sized nail scissors and ripped them off as close to the body as possible. Now it has a grippy texture but doesn't hurt to hold it. The tom cover works a little better than without. However, because the controls sit flush with the remote, the case isn't as comfortable to press. If I used it as my main streaming device, it would be boring.
