We have two of these. They work really well. Installation is a little tedious - you have to use a tool to clumsily adjust the hex nut rather than, say, something you can do with your hands like other gates - but a good wide gate and good looks is what we do to need. Definitely recommended. Some warnings - we ordered two, both listed as new and sold direct from Revain.com. BOTH were clearly previously purchased and returned. Both were worn and the first was missing one of the nuts needed for installation. I emailed customer service asking them to send another one but got frustrated and gave up when they just didn't, asking for photos of the label and other unnecessary details instead. I just went to Home Depot and bought a new one for 30 cents.
