I heard it was a good die cut machine, I used to have a Sizzix Big Shot which I liked but after buying the Silhouette Cameo I decided to sell my big figure. Big mistake, I wanted another one and started looking at the magician as well. I ended up buying this magic binder. At first I wasn't sure I would like it but I only used it a couple of times before moving to a new location. It was earlier this year and today is the first time I've used it since. I'm not happy with that at all. I know how to operate these punch presses and yet this thing refuses to work properly. I've followed the instructions for making embossed sandwich folders and they either aren't big enough to take pressure or they're going to be too big to even go through. Cutting is also random, I've tried everything including spacers and it's almost nothing. I have a platform, cutting boards, a rubber mat, an embossing board and a 3D embossing board. Believe me. I've tried all possible configurations and 98% of the time they don't work. Sometimes I swear it sounds like it's going to break when it works. Like I said, I've used the big bump with no issues and I'm ready for it. Sell or throw away this spell and save my money to buy another big bump. I am a senior on a fixed income so the cost of this car was very high. 😥
