Review on Melissa & Doug Magicians: Illustrated Instructions for Easy Learning by Kyle Mack

I bought two of these, one as a birthday gift for a friend's kid and one for my kids. The first day I looked at it and didn't see a problem, I don't think it broke. Didn't really see what happened to say why or how it broke. My not crazy 10 year old played with it and said she didn't do anything hard or rough with it, just it didn't bounce properly. After looking at it, I was disappointed to find that one of the three inner clamps had a loose grip. I didn't notice it on the first day. I was able to lift it up long enough for my son to use the hat as part of his Halloween costume, but due to this weak joint I don't expect it to last very long until it's unsupported. I chose this hat over a cheaper one because I've always had good feelings about Melissa and Doug and the quality and durability of their products. This item didn't last nearly as long as I had hoped.
