If you live in a cold climate and have ever used a power cord that wasn't covered in elastomeric rubber, then you know the problems of trying to straighten a frozen cord. Instead, this cable lies flat and flexible in sub-zero temperatures. Third, the lighted jack is a nice touch, ensuring the cable is powered and ready to go. Before purchasing a 220v cord, make sure you know which NEMA plug your tool uses as there are many options.
