Review on AC WORKS Sturdy Extension Cord by Enrique Espinoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Flexible at low temperatures and made of thick sheet metal.

As a new user of 220V woodworking tools I was relieved to find this really high quality extension cord. You may think that all extension cords are the same, but you are wrong. First, this cord is thick, which means I don't risk a fire. Second, the outer insulating shell is made of high quality elastomeric rubber (or equivalent rubber). If you live in a cold climate and have ever used a power cord that wasn't covered in elastomeric rubber, then you know the problems of trying to straighten a frozen cord. Instead, this cable lies flat and flexible in sub-zero temperatures. Third, the lighted jack is a nice touch, ensuring the cable is powered and ready to go. Before purchasing a 220v cord, make sure you know which NEMA plug your tool uses as there are many options.

Pros
  • Cables, adapters and multiple sockets
Cons
  • Without machine
