I have this for two basic needs and it works great. It was just as easy to connect to Wi-Fi as any similar smart device I have, so it takes a few tries, but once connected everything is fine. The functions are clear. I was concerned that it says it doesn't recognize distilled water because both of my needs are rainwater issues. I put it in my garage to keep an eye on the problem of flooding during heavy rain and to try some solutions. I think it worked well because the rain picks up enough minerals from the surrounding soil to allow it to continue as needed. My other indoor use where I've seen water damage. So far there have been no leaks or alarms, which is reassuring. If someone figured out how to turn off the beep from the device itself, please write about it. 5 stars for an easy to use water detector that suits my needs well.
