Review on Vinyl Tieout: Break Strength 1700lbs - Unbeatable Durability and Security by Katherine Treadwell

I use this binding to have two dogs (60lbs and 75lbs) respond to the call of nature in the backyard - ie both dogs together, that is probably used 30 minutes a day. I purchased this product as follows: * February 17, 2011 (ordered one) - lasted almost a year (good) * January 21, 2012 (ordered one) - lasted 10 months (acceptable) * December 22, 2012 (ordered two) - the first lasted 2 months (fu.) It seems that the quality has gone down; In the latest shipment, the brand is named "Aspen Pet" instead of "Petmate". Apparently Aspen Pet is a subsidiary, but they were previously under the Petmate brand. I pulled in a new rope at the end of January; A month later the nylon has already started to loosen in places. I inspected the cable today and there are *many* dents where the bare metal is exposed - in less than two months. Unfortunately, Revain no longer accepts returns; Ba! Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they provided a "one time" replacement. Which warranty replaces the product only once? Also, they didn't want to return the old cable; I thought they would want to know why it didn't work.
