These vests need to fit snugly to be effective, so I ordered a smaller one when my chest measurement on the size chart put me on the cusp of two sizes. Neoprene grows easily in water so I figured a smaller size would be ideal. It turned out exactly as expected, with a fitted torso and a very well-groomed chest. Unfortunately, the shoulder area was too big for me. The manufacturers stick to the industry-standard B/C cup sizes, so the shoulders are naturally proportionally larger than the chest. For women with large cup sizes (FGH etc.) this "standard" ratio will not work. Unless you're willing to pay a tailor to take the excess fabric off around the shoulders and neck, this vest isn't worth buying. Despite the great quality, I sent mine back for a refund.
