I didn't realize what these socks would be like when I ordered them. But they're great for anytime I'm in a wet or muddy situation. I thought they would be thick hiking socks with some waterproofing, but they're hardcore waterproof. They aren't quite as thick as my other hiking socks, but they have an inner liner that keeps your feet completely dry.I haven't had the chance to wear them on a hike yet, but I did try them out in my muddy backyard after a rainstorm. My shoes got totally soaked and muddy but my feet were still dry after. The socks are also soft to the touch, look nice and fit my 10.5 shoe size foot well.
