Compared to more expensive products and telephoto lenses, this is a cheaper alternative and generally works well, but there are a few things to note.1. Autofocus works great, but not like that. I've always had some focus lag, especially in low light, a moving subject, low contrast, or backlighting. I missed some good shots because of this delay.2. I mounted it on a 70-200mm f/4 non IS mounted on a Canon 6DM2. While everything else looked fine, the camera's metering mode wasn't as stable during use, meaning a photo could go too dark or too light without changing any of the settings. This can cause problems as it is not always the same, it changes even in broad daylight. This might be fine for average use, but if you want really good quality photos I recommend investing in a telephoto lens. 😁
