Pretty but a bit annoying

TL;DR: I like the color of this ink. The consistency is a bit thicker than expected and needs to be thinned for some pen styles. Difficult to remix rainbow mica. The color of this ink is beautiful. Very blue, bright and iridescent. This alone makes me keep ordering this line of ink despite the issues I'm having with it. Haven't tried it in my calligraphy converters yet. The consistency of the dipped calligraphy nibs seemed normal, but a bit clumpy for my taste. I had to dilute it significantly with water for use with my glass spiral dip pens. Since I gave this away as a set with a glass spiral dip pen, I was annoyed that I had to dilute it. Luckily, mica needs to be shaken, so I didn't have to explain to the recipient that they needed to be shaken to mix the water. Also, the mica dust they use in this ink settles very well and sticks to the bottom of the jar. . Therefore, quite a bit of shaking is required to redisperse it into the ink base. I think I'll throw a ball bearing down the well to make it easier.

Nice! I use it on adult coloring books and it doesn't leak through to the other side.
