    One of the lightest shades

    I have ever seen this line of Dr. martins Out of all the colors offered in the Rainbow ink line, this is one of my five favorites. It is opaque, shimmering but not glossy, and is ideal for pen calligraphy. Suitable only diluted for a fountain pen. They have an expiration date, be aware of this before buying old bottles.

    shiny and thick Best in Drawing

    Really nice mascara, very dense and rich color. I'm trying to incorporate it into calligraphy pens with a piston cartridge and this attempt has been unsuccessful for me because the ink is thicker than regular fountain pen ink. It's possible that "calligraphy ink" doesn't mean the same thing as "fountain pen ink," and I'm wrong. I intend to thin the ink down a bit and see if I can get it to work. Really in love with the color and the high density of sequins.

    Pretty but a bit annoying

    TL;DR: I like the color of this ink. The consistency is a bit thicker than expected and needs to be thinned for some pen styles. Difficult to remix rainbow mica. The color of this ink is beautiful. Very blue, bright and iridescent. This alone makes me keep ordering this line of ink despite the issues I'm having with it. Haven't tried it in my calligraphy converters yet. The consistency of the dipped calligraphy nibs seemed normal, but a bit clumpy for my taste. I had to dilute it significantlyโ€ฆ
