Review on 🔧 EVIL ENERGY 2.5" 2 1/2 Lap Joint Exhaust Band Clamp Repair 304 Stainless Steel 2pcs by Aaron Ethridge

I had a nifty 3" OD exhaust fitting that prevented me from fitting a 3" OD choke on my 2014 RAM 1500. I had to either take my truck to a muffler shop or find something that would reconnect the two. I used a 3" ID and 3" OD lap joint along with heat resistant silver tape to join the two separate tubes together. While there were no instructions on how to assemble it, it was very easy - if you're trying to fix your exhaust pipe yourself, you can definitely fit this overlap on it. Installation was fairly easy, a 9/16" deep bolt head and a 9/16" wrench to hold the nut should work with no problems. The thickness of the sheet metal is thin, about 0.020 (I measured it with a caliper). However, it feels tight and almost pliable on the pipe when I tighten it on my exhaust. Definitely worth the money. I will update my review over time. However, I am currently very happy with this knee joint and encourage anyone who needs it to purchase it.
