Joins 2.5 inch OD Pipe to 2.5 inch ID Pipe. Lap joint exhaust clamp is a simple, effective way to connect heavy-duty exhaust system components such as pipes, muffler and catalytic converters. Width of strap: 2.94inch (74.8mm). Torque: 63 N·m. Package: 2pcs. Connection Type: ID-OD slip fit connection, preferably with compression slit. This lap joint clamp commonly to join standard pipe with flex pipe. It would be very good!

I needed to replace the front exhaust pipe on my 2000 Saturn and chose this clamp to connect the new pipe to the existing pipe that would be cut in front of the catalytic converter. I have used traditional U clamps in the past and have had mixed results with no leaks. I pre-fitted this clamp as soon as I received it and it fits perfectly onto the end of the new pipe. It turned out that despite the fact that numerous sources say otherwise, the new pipe did not fit my car, so I could not use this

Great design, fast delivery

The goods arrived very quickly. The material resembles a cookie cutter. It is advertised as stainless steel and feels like it. I don't have a car to check but I believe it's true. It's designed in such a way that it should still bite if your exhaust you're clipping onto is slightly larger or smaller than the size it's designed for. Nuts and bolts are included and appear to be well tightened. There is no lock nut in the kit so you'll have to see how it holds up. It was below freezing last week…

Worked great to connect my disconnected exhaust pipe. Definitely worth the money.

I had a nifty 3" OD exhaust fitting that prevented me from fitting a 3" OD choke on my 2014 RAM 1500. I had to either take my truck to a muffler shop or find something that would reconnect the two. I used a 3" ID and 3" OD lap joint along with heat resistant silver tape to join the two separate tubes together. While there were no instructions on how to assemble it, it was very easy - if you're trying to fix your exhaust pipe yourself, you can definitely fit this overlap on it. Installation was…
