I needed a soldering pad to repair the earrings with silver solder using a butane torch. This did a good job of keeping the overall heat under repair without damaging the base. Brick or metal surface. The holes also help to hold the small wires that are attached I used on this repair.This is a great finish for small to medium sized jewelry and fits easily in my tool box.
