Use this in an 18 wheel day cab for those of you familiar with these trucks that have a rough ride. It holds up pretty decently and the mounting tape means I won't be drilling holes in the dash. One of the scariest things for any owner is a messed up dashboard. The phone is used for ELD and is a thicker, more durable Kyocera device, it fits very tight and doesn't move easily. UPDATE: Thicker phones tend to fall out when hitting a bumpy stretch of road. I had to remove the clamp and install a magnet instead. The ride for this in a truck (18 wheeler) is too rough to use the clamp. I'm sure a clamp is fine in a car, but not in a big truck.
