Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal size for 1 year old

My son has been potty trained (pooping in the toilet, not in the diaper) for 6 months. We get dressed and once he started eating solid food I refused to let him poop in his diaper as cleaning is a bit of a hassle. In that time we had three toilets. One had steps but the pillow was foam rubber on cardboard. It tore easily and when water, urine, soap etc got under the plastic. It was disgusting. The second was still with steps and had no pillow at all, just plastic with an adjustable height. I thought it would be more hygienic to clean but didn't think about comfort. My son hated it as the hole was too small (he's a stocky kid so his cheeks touched on both sides) and the seat was uncomfortable. We had the most accidents with him. He'll scream as soon as you put him on and decides to poop in his diaper instead (such a big step backwards for a one-year-old). This toilet was amazing. The cushion is strong and flexible and the easiest to clean. My son has bent it before and it showed no wear. Plus, the hole is big enough to fit up his ass, and the poop squirts aren't going anywhere except in a real toilet. He'll sit on it for over 15 minutes at a time and not complain. We're at the point now (14 months) where he tells me he needs to poop and follows me to the bathroom to use it. If you are training a toddler. This is a toilet to beat. The only downside is that the armrests on the bottom don't fit our toilet seat, but I didn't mind as we share a toilet so it's very easy to remove and put aside for me.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negativity is present
