I didn't know what I was missing until I switched to this good quality comb. However, I will say that you must completely detangle your hair before even touching it. Use a wet brush! Once my hair is detangled, this comb makes it very easy to section and blow dry. It really grabs the hair and allows me to wrap my hair around it while blow drying. The blue part gets warm, but not painful when touched on the scalp, just a "hot" feeling. And that happens fairly rarely as the bristles are a good size to prevent this from happening. All in all I would recommend this brush. Good hold, my hair seems to dry a little faster, it's light etc. Can't ask for more!
