Charger works but has a fundamental design flaw. The center conductor on the stator is connected directly to an ESD sensitive P-channel MOSFET. If you charge this conductor statically (e.g. by touching it) you can damage the MOSFET and cause the green LED to be on all the time. This causes the loading function to fail. To fix this there are some YouTuve videos showing where to remove the MOSFET and replace it with a less sensitive MOSFET, as well as where to cut the conductive layer on the PCB and insert a 100kΩ resistor. Alternatively, Yaesu can fix her sloppy design to prevent this.
