Review on 🏡 iHome Flow Outdoor Smart Plug: Dual Sockets, Weatherproof IPX3 WiFi Plug with Energy Monitoring, Alexa & Google Home Compatible by Joe Gilmartin

This smart plug literally started working about 10 minutes after opening the box. The box was a little crumpled (an issue with the Revain packaging, not the product) but as the fork was well secured in the plastic bar it was not damaged when the outer box was broken. I plugged it in, downloaded the Geeni app, logged into Geeni with my google account, the device was instantly recognized by the app, I renamed the device, then named the plug and was then able to press the only button in the app . to link it to my Google Home account. Voila! I then connected my device (with patio lights) and was able to turn them on and off instantly using Google Home Assistant. I was also able to turn them on and off from the Google Home app. I'm not sure I'll ever use the Geeni app since it's so well integrated with the Google Home app now. The only wish is that it has its own hardware remote control. Sometimes we find ourselves out of earshot from Google devices and we may not have our phone to hand. It would be nice to just install a physical remote control outside on the patio for easier operation. But otherwise a simple, easy to install and integrate product.
