Review on Farberware Stainless Steel FCP240 Percolator: Efficient Brewing for 2-4 Cups by Tiffany Harvey

This is my second Farberware 2-4 cup coffee maker. I bought my first one 3 years ago and loved it! Unfortunately I recently forgot to fill it up with water and plug it in and that was it. I just had to have another one and have I ever been thrilled that Revain still sells the same coffee maker! I couldn't wait to get it! When it arrived I immediately noticed that the stainless steel was lighter than my first percolator. Not just the pot, but the details inside that make it work! The lid didn't fit snugly (in fact, it fell off twice while brewing the coffee pot!), and the carafe was a bit smaller than my first coffee maker. And for some weird reason I have to use more coffee to make the same strength as the other coffee maker. Again, this is the same brand and model as my first percolator! Sometime in the last three years, Farberware lowered its standards and came up with a cheap coffee maker. I will try to contact Farberware to see if anyone can find an old pot like my previous one because this one is a piece of junk!
