**Updated Review: I've had this for almost a year now, one in my living room and one in my bedroom. I have a second set of filters. I would recommend vacuuming the canister filter once a month. A year later, the filters included in the kit expired. I work as an air duct cleaner. I took my $2,000 IQair particle counter from work and tested it. My particle counter shows particle sizes from 0.3 to 30 microns. Aiming at the output of this filter fixed the counter at 0. The air in my house is about 43,000 and the air outside is about 170,000. SilverOnix is no IQair beast, but it definitely works. And I am very happy that it costs $700 less than the IQair tower filter. Attached are my particle count photos. BUT, if you have air ducts in your home, buy an Aprilaire - Merv 13 or 16 filter; or if you can afford it, mount the IQair Perfect 16 above your medical air filter oven. If you're like me and don't have an HVAC system in your home, this is a great option on a budget. OG rating: Put it in my living room and the air quality is measured at 75 by the machine's digital display. . The next morning it was only 25 and the room was noticeably fresher. When I cook bacon my house no longer smells like bacon all day and when I leave it on Auto it gets more intense each time I cook or vape so I know it's working. I liked it so much that I bought a second unit for my bedroom! Additional update 04/13/20: Finally bought the IQ Air Health Pro Plus. These little guys don't even compare. Health Pro Plus captures particles 100 times smaller than traditional HEPA filters. Having said that, if you're on a tight budget these little guys are better than nothing, I have to say. If you have extra cash, get an IQ Air product, either the Perfect 16 for your HVAC system, or the Health Pro Plus if you don't have ducts in your home. Your products are world class. Top of the line.
