Upgraded my 2L hydration pack to 3L with insulated tubing. The old 2 liter hose was not insulated and had problems with the water freezing if I forgot to blow the water back out during a shoe show. In the summer, 2L was only enough for longer day trips (8+ miles). So far, six months of use from winter hiking to summer hiking has held up well. Make sure the big fill is set and secured after filling, otherwise you'll get a nice cool shower while bending over, :-P. The detachable hose is great (still getting used to that feature) so you don't have to unwrap the hose from the mounts and water slots in your pack. The backpack has two hanging slots in the backpack, likely for packaging the company is developing. There is only one velcro loop in the middle of my backpack which I have only hooked onto the lid so far and all is well.
