Definitely needed some shaping and filing, they were pretty rough and uneven at the tips but luckily I needed them for a kind of atypical use.and that required cutting them much shorter and filing them. see, I make wire jewelry and have a habit of using my nails to push wire weaves together tighter , among other adjustments to the pieces I make. And my thumb and index finger, end up just freaking shredded doing this! It drives me nuts but nails don’t leave tool marks on my wires and it gives me greater control :) anyhoo, these serve my purpose pretty perfectly! I used acrylic nail nippers to cut them down to size and then used a usual nail file to smooth it out :)
