Works well, my 6 year old loved it.
The dog will do whatever you tell it to do. My 6 year old liked it. She is afraid of real dogs (thanks to canine close range attacks) but wants to be liked. Small steps. I think her favorite part was that she not only ate the pieces but actually threw them away!
