In patchy listening tests through a decent DAC and a variety of music, female vocals can be a bit hissing. Bass is tight and precise, but too much of it. The overall impression is not the same as if the singer, piano or acoustic guitar were in the same room with you. something just isn't right. But slightly corrected by the equalizer, they are very pleasant to listen to. Now I have to throw away all other headphones.
