Review on Seagate BarraCuda Internal Drive 3 5 Inch by Gerson Lagerquist

This was the best decision (in terms of storage) I've made in a long time. I pulled out my brimming 5TB and plugged this guy in, booted up, went into device manager, partitioned and formatted and started transferring data from my backups in less than 5 minutes. We spent one of those minutes unhooking and extending my turret to gain access to the rear of the hull and the other taking it back. Fast fast fast. 190 Mbps from an external 10 TB is sustainable. The noise was more of a pleasant noise than an annoying babble, and I only hear it when copying large amounts of data. This is not noticeable in everyday storage processes and file copies. I have glass side doors on my case and the case doesn't close tightly so I'm sure those with tighter cases won't hear it at all. No complaints, happy with the price and very happy with the performance. And it's a 7200 RPM drive.
