I got it like a whale to 3300. I say right away, a stepper motor is a thing! Of course, in this regard, Nikon is in the role of catching up, but this is not about that now. Autofocus is very quiet, with good lighting, focusing is instantaneous, at dusk runs from beginning to end are possible, but this happens quite quickly. The focusing ring is not directly connected to the lenses, so it is unrealistic to accidentally roll it up and break the lens with it, the design will not allow it. The movement of the ring is unlimited, when it reaches the border, it continues to scroll without affecting the focus. The stabilizer is also very good. With practice, it is quite possible to shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/2, which makes this lens very convenient in low light. I also have "55-200 if ed", so there it emits a quiet high-frequency squeak when working, but here it works absolutely silently. A trifle, but nice. A small blunder in the assembly: there is an almost imperceptible backlash of the focus wheel, not in the direction of rotation, but along the axis of the lens. It does not affect the operation of the lens in any way, but it spoils the impression a little. But this lens does not cost 50k to expect a perfect build. There is also "lens parking", which makes it convenient to transport the lens, reducing its size. Bottom line: naturally, professional photographers with more serious equipment will spit using this lens, but for an amateur it’s a very good thing. Definitely worth your money.
