I was looking for a shoulder bag big enough for a paperback or Kindle, a bottle of water, a couple of glasses - that's it - it would be light and waterproof. Searched for a long time, sometimes for weeks. Too big, too small, too heavy. This one is perfect. I could hardly believe my luck. I've only used it once so far, but it was a 9 hour day in the city, 5 hours outside (hence the shoulder bag) and it was comfortable and did the job perfectly. Much better than my usual work backpack, although a city backpack will work if you don't mind carrying it on your back. Depending on what you're doing, this can be impractical. I'm not a big fan of wallets, but I really like this one. Time will tell how it holds up.
