Potential Health Hazards and Toxicity

I have always bought Coways in the past but decided to save some money so I bought them. I installed them in my 2 Conway air purifiers the weekend before last. I smelled it straight away. My dog Cooper left the room immediately and didn't seem to like the smell of the exhaust. I decided to keep working with them because I believed the smell would go away. I use my 2 cleaners 24/7. 4 days later, Cooper developed a very serious autoimmune disease called IMHA, immune-mediated hemolytic anemia. The trigger for IMHA is always difficult to pinpoint, but there was nothing else in his life other than those hepa filters that he wanted to get rid of right away. A few days after using them, he looked like he was a little nauseous. He lost his appetite and stopped eating. After 4 days he had lost 2/3 of his blood cell volume. It's day six and he's on the brink of death and tomorrow I may have to put him to sleep. I really believe these hepa filters have been called IMHA. When something creates an odor, that something is released into the air. I noticed it right away, and so did Cooper, and he didn't like it. I tried to think about what had changed in the home environment that might have triggered this. These hepa filters are the only change in his living environment. There is one negative review claiming that these filters actually add VOCs to the air. I can't prove it without an autopsy, but my intuition tells me these filters are killing my best friend. My advice is don't buy if you care about the health of your pets and family members. They're cheap for a reason. Would give zero stars if possible.
