Review on πŸͺ‘ Optimize Outdoor DIY Gear Repair with Strapworks Heavyweight Polypropylene Webbing - Premium Heavy Duty Poly Strapping by Shedrick Roach

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for shoulder bag straps

I love this polypropylene webbing for making bag straps. I don't use it on all bags, just everyday bags that need specific colors that are not available in cotton fabric, especially children's bags. I melt the ends with a lighter or heater, sew them through and even glue them to the inside. Pockets to ensure they never wear out or "blow out". I wouldn't recommend cutting rivet holes in this material unless you've covered the backing with strong adhesive - Beacon 3-in-1 or Gem Tac are good. Polyester de-weaves much faster than cotton fabric. I think you can safely poke holes with an awl because it won't cut through woven threads. It is durable, pleasant to the touch and comes in a wide range of beautiful colors for stylish bags.

Pros
  • Rope, cord and webbing
Cons
  • Hard to tell
