Maybe I just haven't found the perfect filter yet. I've had it for almost a year and have been using it daily for the past month since my French abs collapsed. Love the feel and the price was ok but the hole feels too big. With paper filters (which I've been using with Melita plastic cones >/< 20 years, so I *really* know how to fold them, how to use them ;-)) the water clogs and you have to lift the filter and coffee to get it to be deserved again. I have a reusable filter, which I like better than paper anyway, but the water runs through it too quickly. I have to be very conscientious about how I pour, not the cone that does the "cooking" work for me. If I don't pour VERY carefully and slowly, the coffee will be too weak. No big deal, pour in a cup or two and pour again, but still. So there is no Kashi Three Bears yet. I still CAN make a great cup of coffee - it's just more work than it really needs to be. I like the idea, I like the feel, but it *not quite* works for me.
