I started wearing these socks for the first time about ten years ago. They are comfortable, well made and last a long time. I only wear these socks all year round at temperatures between 30 and 115 degrees. My activities include biking, hiking, pickleball. The size. I wear a size 7 men's shoe and find the middle toe box a little tight on the toes. Although the large size seems a bit long, they are more comfortable for me. If you are a size over 7 and order a medium sock, you may find that it is tight.
