We loved this topper when we first got it. It was very comfortable and we loved the smell of lavender. However, now we understand that our son is very hot while sleeping. He has to carry a fan around with him all night and that started when we got the mattress. His sweat even discolored the topper! Little did we know a mattress topper could make you sweat! And after only about 6 months of use, the topper has a lot of scratches. I don't understand how he can keep himself from sleeping on it. I wish it had taken longer. We're wondering if the gel version can last longer, but we're nervous about trying it afterwards. Update: The company contacted me after my review and was very receptive and accommodating. They sent me a new topper for free and even agreed to send me a gel version to see if it would affect my son's body temperature. It arrived the next day! I'll update after he's slept on it for a few nights but so far the customer service has been outstanding and much appreciated.
