Disappointing reorder

I had purchased this item last year for my daughter. I must say it was absolutely beautiful! The rich wine color, the workmanship and to say nothing about the personal packaging. She almost did not get it. I reordered this item for myself this year with total disappointment. As you can see there's no rich wine color, the workmanship seems to be ok.time will tell and the packaging was good. The leather looks as if someone tried to distress it which was not in the description. To think I could have ordered this same type of item at a cheaper price. Beware! Obviously workmanship is not consistent.
